Saturday evening, week 5

[she's just going to check on people, and Sakura is one of the few remaining "her" people.

She knocks lightly on her door.]

Sakura-chan...?

[respring]

[ After everything that trial was..................hm. She's just relaxing for the moment, though she won't mind a guest.]

Hello, Ann-san. Is something the matter?

[fullbodied]

Oh, nothing, really. I just wanted to check up on people.

Can I come in?

[respring]

Oh, of course.

[ stepping aside.

Sakura's room is pretty sparse, but after Thursday, she's decorated it with the rolls of ribbons she was given. A bow here, a bow there, bows on her curtains, bows on her bedposts. It's very cutesy. ]

How are you feeling, tonight...?

[fullbodied]

[just like her!]

Mm... I'll live.

[she steps inside, and pauses, her face dropping for a moment.]

Oh... no. I'm.. a little miserable, actually. But I think everyone is at this point.

[respring]

...I know.

[ Sakura lets the smile drop from her face, shoulders sagging. She takes a seat on her bed, but gestures for Ann to sit wherever she wants. ]

I feel like I really understand the phrase "emotional rollercoaster" now.

[so of course, she sits next to Sakura]

I don't think I've gotten off in weeks now. It's such bullshit-- I can't stand it.

And we're all trying to not be suspicious, and to move forward. But...

[ Sakura, being herself, does not immediately think Ann means "gotten off the rollercoaster," but squashes down her awful gutter mind pretty successfully.

Don't think like that around Ann, shhh, she's a pretty girl. ]

I know. I don't have any idea what I'm supposed to do anymore. I feel really useless...especially during the trial, you know? None of my ideas were correct, and everyone got mad, and then--

[ And then Gebura ]

Being right in trial sucks. Casting suspicion on your friends is the worst. Don't do it.

[she leans against Sakura slightly.]

Besides... you tried again. Lots. We just... missed it.

[ She's silent for a minute. ]

Everything feels like it went wrong, today.

... Maybe. Guess it's time to make something go right, huh?

[and she leans in to nuzzle her a little bit.

[ Hm! Interesting! So her gay-ass crush is apparently not one-sided!

[it's a nice thought, and she kind of likes seeing that blush on Sakura's face, but she doesn't want to push her, if she's nervous. If there's some sort of hesitation.

But she's waited before, and it bit her in the worst way. she didn't want to do that again..]

[she brushes a strand of hair out of her face]

Monday night, week 6

[ Tbh Sakura is kind of dazedly walking around more than going straight to talk to Ann, but hey. She brought some leftover crepes from this breakfast this morning as her usual greeting, and when she gets to Ann's room, she knocks lightly.

The look on her face is very 'something extremely good happened and I am a little light-headed.' Hmm. ]

[ann opens her door-- and she's about to say something when.

she sees the look on Sakura's face.]

... So, how'd it go?

[respring]

[ Distractedly handing Ann the food. HERE. ]

We talked for a while, and, um, the problem did come up. [ about her being human ] B-But, I think...everything will be fine. Assuming the rest of this game goes...sort of smoothly.

[ as smoothly as a witch game can go ]

[she pauses and

oh my god, it's a crepe. her thought process is totally derailed.]

Oh! This looks so yummy! I can eat it, right?

anyway that's fine, she's still kind of loopy ]

[she steps aside to let Sakura in. and she is totally..... going to nom this.

She takes a single bite, and then, back on her train of thought]

I knew you were overthinking this.

[another nom, she's sitting on the bed and trying to not make a mess.]

Mmmmm, delicious.

[ t-t-t-taking a seat on the chair ]

I hope so...he did bring up the point I was thinking of, but, if he's fine with it, I suppose...

They're alright reheated, then?

[she licks some chocolate off her thumb, and then gets BACK onto her train of thought]

It's probably important. But not a deal breaker, right?

Yes...that's more or less what he said.

[ there's a mournful look in her eyes when she says that. Encouraging me, at your own expense. ]

I'm glad that worked out for you.

[said softly.]

[she notices the look in her eyes, but she's trying to be reassuring, instead. don't worry, or think too hard about it? follow your heart.]

[respring]

[ There's a long pause, and Sakura averts her eyes. ]

Um...he said something interesting, though. [ a gulp ] Back home, I was dating someone, and I don't know if I'll ever see him again, but...I still care a lot about him, and if we ever do meet again, I'd still be fairly close to him. It wasn't what I meant when I brought him up, but Watanuki-kun said something like 'if you want to include him in this relationship, we'll have to talk it out.'

... Wait, really?

[she pauses, because she wasn't expecting that and it. is not quite hitting her what Sakura means.]
