A treasure is the most important thing to someone, right? I always thought that was usually their life, but maybe it's different for Witches?
[He cocks his head at Ann from below the dock, a little ways deeper, and then shakes out his bangs a little when they flop into his eyes. Definitely kind of like a large dog.]
If you can change Nirrti's heart -- well, you'd probably have to find it first. I'm pretty sure!
[She's got that whole heartless cacklelife thing going on, after all.]
None of that is right. Sure, there are people who value their lives above anything, but most of the time, your most important treasure's something different. And if you're a witch, I bet that's triple true.
A Witch's life is pretty different, but what other kinds of treasures are there? I don't think I really get what they are...
[He's too much of a straightforward sort of guy for all these metaphysical concepts at morning o'clock on a Sunday, y'all. They just spent yesterday trying to get a Witch to make sense and stop turbo-stabbing them and only succeeded by the skin of their teeth (again).]
Or what kind of entrance you're looking for. A treasure is a place?
[She'll find him..... sorting through his closet. Natsuno's closet, probably, but it's doubled in size since Friday and there are a lot more varied fashions in there now. Some may even look familiar to Ann, and also it just runs the gamut of the sexes.
Otherwise, the room still looks oddly lived in, probably because Anon claimed it almost immediately. His sword is there, the big round plush of his trial form, and other little touches that reveal how much he's in fact moved the heck in.
[He doesn't quite say comforting, but judging by how much he's settled in and the easy way he moves around the space that comes across anyway.
He pauses his rummaging, though, looking from Ann to the designated uniform and back again. There's a half-grin. It's become somewhat rare in the last couple of days.]
Aha, I could kind of guess why my closet was like this, but I haven't been able to match everyone up yet.
Yeah, but... I wasn't worried about the trial. I was worried about you. Regardless of if you were honest then or not, pain, something like that... it tends to stick around, at least for a little bit, you know?
His shoulders have been a little slumped, mostly, but that's the general low-energy thing. Otherwise there's not really movement. It's still kind of an unnatural stillness for him.]
I've been told that a lot since I came here. I wonder why?
Because there's a lot here that fails to meet our expectations, isn't there? I thought Koide-kun would make it to the end. While he was difficult, I didn't think he was harmful to anyone.
That was the stupid part. Expecting it to last forever.
[There's a small shrug from him. There's almost something like amusement in his voice now.]
And everyone underestimates Koide. He's good at that. I should have asked Syaoran how much those bruises hurt, but I don't think he could have told me at that point.
Hmm. The Furniture is going to be around, isn't it?
[He actually seems pretty casual about that, and maybe that's just part and parcel of his nature.]
Wow, he is going to hate that. [...] They have to do something with the Pieces at the end of the Game, anyway. That's the important part. Besides, if we don't end this Game on our terms, we'll just all die. So it's fine.
[He actually jumps a little when she hugs him -- doesn't pull away but doesn't reciprocate either, though he does try to glance over his shoulder with a look that's mostly like what, what are you doing. He is not a pompom at this point and so it's definitely weird.
Like you'd expect him to be the touchy-feely sort given his usual attitude but he's somehow not so much.]
